An Arkansas man has been charged with first-degree murder after he allegedly shot and killed his wife's best friend on Valentine's Day, the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette reports.
According to KATV, 46-year-old Jonathan Sanders allegedly shot 28-year-old Ashley Sanders multiple times in the head, neck, and chest.
Sanders then called his wife, who was pronounced dead at the scene, and told her he was going to kill her.
Sanders allegedly admitted to shooting his wife, but said he didn't know she was dead until he saw her body.
KATV reports Sanders and his wife had been dating for more than two years.
According to the Democrat-Gazette, Sanders' ex-wife had filed a restraining order against him earlier this year, but it was dismissed last month.
